Attorney Brittany Alexander defeated a Motion for Summary Judgment filed by an insurance company for a late-reported Hurricane Irma claim. The insurance company improperly denied the homeowners’ claim in mid-2018, alleging that there was “insufficient evidence” to show that any damage occurred during the storm. At the hearing, our firm presented substantial evidence to show that the roof damages were related to Hurricane Irma. Based on that evidence, the judge determined that the case should be heard by a jury and denied the company’s Motion for Summary Judgment.
